Al Krombach
A professional journalist for more than 30 years, Al Krombach has served with several Florida newspapers, including the Florida Times-Union, St. Augustine Record and the Palatka Daily News, where he retired in 2015 as managing editor. He grew up in Daytona Beach and was educated in the public schools. He is an alumnus of the Florida State University School of Music. He has worked with musical groups ranging from rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and circus bands to opera orchestras, and spent years as a choir director. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
